Online Support for Families in RCT
Thu 17 Nov 2022The Community Wellbeing and Resilience Service and the Family Information Service are excited to announce the launch of their new website for RCT Families. This website provides practical and accessible advice and guidance for parents, carers, children, young people and the professionals that support them.

Free school meals during holiday periods

Free school meals during holiday periods - Please be advised that Welsh Government will continue to fund free school meal holiday provision until the end of the current financial year, as part of a wider package of support to help families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis. No application is necessary. Eligible families will continue to receive BACS payments direct to their bank accounts for the holiday periods; autumn half term week, the two-week Christmas holiday, as well as the spring half term (it will not cover Easter holidays as they fall in the next financial year). Please note that this provision relates to learners eligible for Free School Meals and not Universal primary Free School Meals.
