Important Update:
WE HAVE RELEASED MORE SPACES FOR BREAKFAST CLUB
Breakfast Club On-line Applications – Information for Parents/Carers
Dear Parent/Carer,
All children already registered for breakfast club will retain their place for the remainder of the academic year, i.e. until the end of term in July 2025. Please do not apply if your child(ren) is already accessing breakfast club or if you have already successfully applied for a breakfast club place. If you are in doubt, please seek advice from the school as they have detailed information relating to all successful applications.
If your child is already registered to attend breakfast club, please do not attempt to re-apply as this may prevent others from applying.
If your child(ren) is joining the school from January 2025, or is an existing pupil who now wishes to attend breakfast club, you can apply online using Primary School Free Breakfast Club from Thursday 19th December 2024 onwards. Please only apply if your child(ren) requires access to a free and healthy breakfast, this provision is not childcare. Please note, that the Council does not provide access to paid childcare provision prior to the start of the free breakfast club provision in our primary schools.
If there is no space available at this time, you will be notified, and the child(ren) will be placed onto a digital waiting list. When a place becomes available, you will receive an email notification that your child has now been moved to the breakfast club register and is now able to attend breakfast club.
We are now in flu season and infection rates in our communities in CTM are rising rapidly. Flu is serious, and can make the young , elderly and immunosuppressed ill enough to need hospital care. Already our hospitals are seeing more people being admitted with flu. We all have a part to play in preventing the spread of infection. A flu vaccination will keep your child, and those around them who are vulnerable, well this winter. It is administered via a nasal spray, and is available to children age 2-16 free of charge.
If your child missed their vaccination in school this term, we will soon be writing to you with an appointment for them to be vaccinated at one of our community vaccination centres during January.
Vaccination against flu can save lives. Protect your child, protect those around them, and stay well this winter.
Further details for Dates for December - Please note tickets will be on sale today, 3 per family @ £2.50 each.
