Remembrance Day 2024
Mon 11 Nov 2024Our pupils represented the school, Beavers and Sea Cadets yesterday at the cenotaph for the Mid Rhondda Remembrance service. We talked about the importance of remembrance and held a minute silence during assembly this morning.

Children In Need 15th Nov
Fri 08 Nov 2024This Friday, 15th November, we will be raising awareness of for Children in Need.
Pontrhondda Pupil Power Squad have decided on a ‘Feel Good Friday’ theme and would like pupils to wear their pyjamas if they want. There will be activities within classes and a danceathon.

SHINE aims to:
- Support with early identification of emotional difficulties.
- Promote emotional and mental health wellbeing.
- Identify clear and effective pathways for accessing information for children, young people, staff and families.
- Provide timely access to evidence-based early interventions.
Rachel, our SHINE practitioner will be in school EVERY THURSDAY MORNING 9-10:30

Spooky Disco
Mon 21 Oct 2024Pontrhondda Primary School Spooky Disco. Wednesday 23rd October, FP pupils (Pinc, Glas, Y2 Coch), 2-3pm. KS2 Pupils (Y3 Coch, Melyn, Porffor) 3:15pm - 4pm.
Fancy dress optional, please send any costumes into school LABELLED and in a bag.
£3 entry, drink and snack provided.
